The Botanist Bath are hiring a Back of House Assistant!

Behind every great service is a great kitchen team!

We're looking for BOH Assistants who take pride in keeping things organised, clean and running smoothly. You play an important role in keeping the kitchen operating efficiently by maintaining hygiene standards, preparing food batches, and supporting chefs with essential kitchen tasks.

You work closely with the chefs on shift to ensure the kitchen remains well organised, equipment is clean and ready for use, and ingredients are prepared according to spec.

What You'll Be Doing:

Maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen
Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils and workspaces
Supporting deliveries and stock organisation
Assisting the kitchen team during service
Following food safety and health & safety procedures
Prepare food batches for service following prep lists and par levels.
Follow kitchen specifications and measurements when preparing ingredients.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for people with a strong work ethic who enjoy working as part of a team, take pride in their work and thrive in busy environments.

Previous food preparation experience is helpful but not essential.
